Courage to Soar

The purpose of the Courage to Soar Alternative Secondary Program is to address the need of disengaged urban Aboriginal students and help them complete their Ontario Secondary School Program Diploma. Courage to Soar aim to incorporate cultural teachings and leaning approaches as they prepare students for workplace readiness. Skill development and training or for transitions to mainstream high schools or post secondary education institution.

ASSP seeks to improve Aboriginal students’ success at the secondary level, to increase graduation rate of the CTS students and to positively impact the rate of high school completion among Urban Aboriginal learners in Ontario.
